Replacement Conservatory Roof

The Brief...

Chris & Sue wanted their conservatory to be usable all year round after suffering through blistering heat in the summer, and icy cold winters. They had tried other solutions in the past that had always fallen short - They were now looking for a trustworthy and reputable home improvement specialist to tackle their issue.

The Outcome...

After contacting Elmhurst and receiving expert advice on their situation, Richard put together a plan of action which involved modernising their conservatory and adding a SupaLite Warm roof, allowing them year round use.

“Hi, I'm in the beautiful village of Hamilton near Selby.

And here's another Elmhurst Conservatory roof team installation, where we've installed a superlight warm roof onto these existing frames.

Now, it's a lovely summer's day, and normally, sitting in that conservatory with the old polycarbonate roof would be totally boiling hot and unusable.

But the benefit of this warm roof is that it's so cool and usable for days like this. With the winter months coming up, the reverse will happen, and this will basically be a year-round room where the customer can always benefit.

Chris and Sue contacted us because they had a totally unusable conservatory, the usual, too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.

So we came up with a solution to give them an all-year-round room, where we replaced the conservatory roof onto the existing frames.

Chris and Sue contacted us - Not only were they looking for a company that they could trust in home improvements, and as a registered superlight installer, there was no hesitation that these customers were getting the best roof in the business.

And the feedback we've had from Chris and Sue is that the only time they used to actually use the room was on Christmas Day when the family came around, albeit it was very cold.

In there the rest of the year, this conservatory has just been left unused, and now the space will be utilised all year round. And with rising energy bills on the horizon, this conservatory will be fully insulated to maximum efficiency with extremely low U values.
