The Brief...

The house, over a century old, was adorned with wooden windows that had seen better days. Michael wanted to replace them but was keen on preserving the character and age of the house. He didn't want just any bland replacement; he wanted windows that would complement the house's unique charm.

The Outcome...

With the help of our dedicated team at Elmhurst, including our surveyors and salespeople, we delivered exactly what Michael envisioned. The result? A set of windows that fit the house's character and enhanced its aesthetic appeal.

The cream-coloured exterior, coupled with the grainy texture, gives the windows a distinct look that has been garnering compliments from passersby. The flush finish adds to the overall appeal, giving the appearance of a sash.

But the transformation wasn't just about aesthetics. The new windows are much warmer than the old ones, which were single-glazed and drafty. Michael noticed a significant difference, especially with the upstairs window, where cold winter winds used to seep through the old metal frames. That's all gone now, replaced with a warm and cosy atmosphere.
